Description
The Transformers Legacy series introduces Deluxe Class Tarantulas with a cartoon-accurate design inspired by the original Beast Wars show but built in a modern Generations style. Stands approximately 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall. Two modes robot mode transforming in 19 steps. The robot mode includes articulated spider legs with 30 points of articulation, while the spider mode folds the limbs realistically. Accessories come with a crossbow/grapple gun and an Energon buzzsaw, both referencing weapons from the Beast Wars cartoon and toy lineage. The robot mode replicates the TV appearance with carefully sculpted head and torso, rounded shoulders, and fangs. The spider legs can accommodate blast effects to simulate firing action from the TV series. Made of purple, metallic green, and black plastic, with accents in yellow. The design mostly reflects his CG model from season one of Beast Wars.
